Problem with RevPi Core
Hi,
I have a RevPi Core.
After connecting the power supply, the following lights up:
green LED - Power
red LED - A1
Nothing else shines (no LED on LAN card). Does anyone have any suggestion what could be wrong?
BR,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
please give us more information:
What kind of Core (1 or 3)?
When did you buy it? (when we started selling Core 3 there have been cases of devices with CM3 out of their socket due to extensive shocks on their way shipped to the customer, we then changed to securely fixing the CM inside)
What kind of powersupply (voltage)?

Hi,
This is RevPi Core 1
Unfortunately, I am the second owner so I do not know when it was bought from you.
Powersupply is for Siemens Logo 24V (measured: 23,94 V )

So if you do not know the history of this device I would strictly advise you to upload the newest image onto this device. There is a tutorial how to save and restore images and you can download the current image from our shop (for free).

Hi,
In my opinion this is same hardware failure.
I started the rpiboot and unfortunately RevPI does not report in rpiboot.
Additionally, HDMI does not transmit the image to the monitor
Best regards,
Daniel

Which HW failure do you refer to? What do you mean by "same"?

I do not have knowledge about hardware of RevPi.
In my opinion the problem is with hardware .
But I do not know with which part of hardware.

okay,
then again:
please try to upload an actual image. if the upload fails then the NEXT step (and only THEN) is to look for the HW by opening the case and see if the CM is inserted correctly in its socket. When opening the case you will risk to damage it. So please follow the description we have given here in German:

(please use google translator if necessary).

How did you solve the problem? Did you reinsert the Core Module 1 into its SODIMM socket? If so, the hardware bugfix, or at least the bugreport in the news and announcements forum should be extended to RevPi Core 1, right?
