Anyone has experience with CODESYS runtime on RasPi?

Post by SebastianSamuel »

I came across CODESYS runtime for RasPi while browsing CODESYS packages and as I understand it, it turns a RasPi into a PLC so you can use IEC programming languages on it.

"The CODESYS Control SoftPLC runtime system. It converts any embedded or PC-based device into an IEC 61131-3-compliant industrial controller. "
I am wondering if anyone has experience with this?

Hi SebastianSamuel, within the next months we will be able to provide a new "Codesys-RevPi" product - the name may differ.
Until this is not yet finished you may use the free "RevPiLib" library, here https://revolution.kunbus.com/tutorials ... einbinden/

Just to state this clear - we are waiting for an update from Codesys here as the runtime has a bug which was pointed out by our new implementation.
