Digital Outputs function

Post by Dat Ha »

I want to ask about the 2 pins 0V EX and 24 EX, what are the uses of these 2 pins?
I found it in the documents
Always use the same ground potential that supplies the connected sensors or actuators.
But I can't find any GND pin in the DO of the RevPi compact
Please let me know the above information
Thank you

Hi Dat Ha and welcome to the Revolution Pi community. The digital outputs are galvanically isolated. To apply 0 volts and 24 volts, you can of course also do the trick and remove the galvanic isolation by inserting a wire jumper between your 24 volt supply of the device and these two inputs. Of course, it is not recommended to do this in productive use.
