Re: RevPi Compact EERAM
I've documented the EERAM's usage internally but apparently that part of the documentation hasn't found its way to the Compact Tutorials page yet: Briefly, the EERAM is exposed as a generic file called /sys/bus/nvmem/devices/1-00500/nvmem. You just need to open/read/write/close this file. Anything w...

Re: spidev0.0 on RevPi Connect+ does not transmit and receive the same information
The Con CAN option in webstatus merely loads a devicetree overlay which instantiates the CAN slave below the SPI master (and sets the status of the spidev slave to "disabled"). This looks like the RX line is pulled high. I'd suggest to double-check the wiring and verify whether the correct...

Re: About the Interface of RevPie Compact
First picture shows the camera port. Second picture shows the Micro-USB port to access the eMMC. The camera port uses an HDMI connector to transmit CSI signals. To use it, you need: Raspberry Pi Camera ( HQ or V2 or NoIR V2 ) Pi Camera HDMI Cable Extension (adapts CSI signals to HDMI interface) HDMI...

Re: 2x RevPi Core via PiBridge
How about configuring netfilter rules to set up a firewall on the PiBridge Ethernet? You should also be able to talk to a neighboring Core with RS485 by opening /dev/ttyAMA0 on each of them with miniterm or something like that. Instead of cutting away the Ethernet pins, you can just shut down the pi...

Re: 2x RevPi Core via PiBridge
Yes that is possible, there are some brief notes in the stretch 3/2019 release announcement (search for "PiBridge networking"). Basically you need to comment out piControl in /etc/modules, connect the two Cores with a PiBridge plug and boot them. They will assign themselves IP addresses in...

Re: RevPi Connect ttyRS485 device not found
I agree that it looks like a hardware issue. Devices on the USB bus are auto-discovered. If they don't show up, they're likely dead. Question is, did this happen out of the blue or was the chip somehow fried by feeding a too-high voltage through the RS485 port? The FTDI chip isn't connected directly...

Re: RevPi Core 3+ / Python / Thonny / Tastaturpuffer "lagt"

Re: MODBUS RTU: any way to adjust time outs?
I have a MODBUS RTU Master in my RevPi connect, with only 5 actions defined. There is 3 slaves attached, the wiring is all twisted Pair CAT5 via a distribution PCB and short stubs of like 20cm to each device. Total cable length is around 1m estimated. The bus is terminated at the RevPi and on the d...

Re: TeamViewer Signatur abgelaufen
