Imagebakery - collect sources

Hi everyone, What is the purpose of the script collect-sources.sh in the imagebakery? I run it and just puts a lot of repositories on my USB stick. I thought it was going to make further changes to the image file, but that doesn't seem to be the case. On github it just says 'it is for GPL compliance...

Re: Rev Pi as datalogger - node-red

Just a tip on using an external USB for datalogging. We noticed that sometimes the USB file system fails on startup if the Pi wasn't shut down properly.

We then have to go in, unmount the USB, do a fcheck on the USB and remount it or reboot.

Re: Win32 Disk Imager Error 2

Hello Koen, thank you for your detailled error description and all the steps that you have taken to try to fix this issue. So the error points to the Write action which involves the connection between the USB host PC and the eMMC of the RevPi. So we did not yet have this error but maybe the eMMC ha...

Win32 Disk Imager Error 2

Hello, I am having issues with writing an image to a RevPi Connect. The RevPi was working fine before I tried to load a fresh image onto it. Now it will not boot anymore. While writing the image with Win32 Disk Imager, I always get an error message when I get close to 30%. See attached screenshot. I...

Re: RevPi Connect - USB found but RpiBoot does not work

Hi Amar,

I think it was damaged. The vendor seems to agree and has replaced it.

Thank you

Re: RevPi Connect - USB found but RpiBoot does not work

Thank you Amar, I did what you said regarding the USB driver install: 1. I uninstalled RPIboot.exe 2. disabled driver signature per the link you provided 3. re-installed RPIboot.exe Following this, I was: 1. Not able to connect to the suspected damaged RevPi 2. Able to connect correctly to a differe...

Re: Comms Lockups

Hi TrentB,

I am curious - are you using NodeRed to connect to the Allen Bradley? I am hoping to do something similar and was hoping if you had some feedback on what setup you used.

Kind regards
Koen

RevPi Connect - USB found but RpiBoot does not work

Hi, I am stuck with a RevPi Connect that has possibly a corrupt image on it. I am trying to flash it with a 'virgin' Stretch image. When connecting with a HDMI cable (and not the USB) I get nothing on the screen. When connecting with the USB to my PC, it seems to be recognised at first. See below. b...

Re: 32 bit modbus data with MQTT

Thank you Sven,

I will have a look at the beta one of these days. We are just implementing a project with a client and I will also be on holiday for a few weeks - so I might not get back to you until late July.

Many many thanks again - Vielen dank.
