Changing pictory configuration (location)

Dear all, we like to use piCtory etc., but it is beginning to become tedious because we have to enter a lot of variables (reading modbus), which could potentially change. Thus we are thinking about writing directly to the file which pictory creates. As far as I understand it, the file is placed in &...

Re: Modbus RTU Master "device_path"

Dear all,
did you find a solution Ibrahim?

I want to do something very similar, i.e., change "device_path" from a script/python and then reset the driver.
Best, Robert

I apologize, this is the wrong page of the forum. I found this post "https://revolution.kunbus.de/forum/view ... =41&t=1667" and will continue my search there.

Modbus RTU Master change device_path

Dear all, I am playing around with the Modbus RTU Master on a RevPi Core 3+ to automatically read modbus signals through an FTDI USB adapter. We sometimes have the problem, that the USB port of the modbus FTDI adapter is not ttyUSB0 but ttyUSB1. We have a script which can recognize this and yield th...

Re: Wechsel von RevPi Core 3+ zu Connect sinnvoll?

Dear Lukas, thank you for your helpful reply. I understood the RS485 interface on the front of the RevPi Connect such, that we can configure the RevPi to take care of modbus signals. So we do not have to do that, to us it is like reading a value from a DIO or AIO module. Is that correct? If that is ...

Re: Wechsel von RevPi Core 3+ zu Connect sinnvoll?

Hy Dirk, I will switch to english - I apologize for the initial german post, my post should be understandable to a more international community. Thank you for your advice. I will test that tomorrow. However, how does that address my questions with respect to the RevPi Connect? I.e.: 1. Would the Rev...
