Hello
I am Barney from Hongke.
We have a customer,he got a new Revpi ,but he said that after getting the new device, it has been restarting repeatedly after being powered on,and don’t know what to do.
In addition, he used a 16GB version of the device, but after getting it, he found that it was only 42M.
what do you think?

The eMMC contains two partitions, the first one uses the FAT filesystem and merely contains the bootloader, kernel and devicetree files. The second one uses the ext4 filesystem and occupies the remainder of the eMMC. You can't see the ext4 partition on Windows unless you install a driver for the ext4 filesystem. You *can* however see the FAT filesystem because Windows supports that filesystem format natively.

As for the RevPi which restarts repeatedly, this sounds like an RMA case. Dirk will get back to you when he returns to the office next week.

Hi,

On a RevPi Connect, there is another possibility for the rebooting - the Watchdog is not feed, which can be deactivated by wiring terminals 6 and 7.
More detail can be found in https://revolution.kunbus.com/tutorials ... rect=en_US

Simon

Hi Barney, could you verify if the idea with the deactivation of the watchdog solved the issue?

Hello.

I have a similar problem to the Original Poster.

As of now, I'm also attempting to put the jumper cables only on the 24V and WD, but what happens is that the RevPi Connect doesn't power on. Instead, only the REL light was blinking.

Is it recommended to put both the 0V and the WD alongside the 24V altogether in this case?

Hi gabrielf, to disable the watchdog on a RevPi Connect module, a jumper between pin WD and pin 0 is required.
