hello

i can't login to my revpi when i set the device boot options to desktop mode
when the password is wrong a red message pops up while when the password is the screen refreshes and the login screen is shown again asking for the password
the only way i use to login is connecting using terminal mode and run startx command.

Hi sofiene, can you show us some screenshots about the login process? The desktop configuration and login process is identical on the RevPi with the RaspberryPi. Maybe you just flash the image of the system and try it again.

this second image is what happened when i hit login with a correct password

note the login screen is shown again

and this last image is when i insert a wrong password

this is supposed to login automatically in first place because i set my raspi-config to Desktop Autologin

Hi sofiene, unfortunately there was a problem with some of your images. That is why we have deleted them. Please update the screenshots so that we can help you. Thank you.

sorry for the late reply.

i had to reset the system with the original image i backed up when i first bought the device, it came at the cost of all my data but i had no other choice.
