Functional Stepper Motors/Drivers

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has had any success with a specific stepper motor or driver and was willing to share that information with me! I'm attempting to control an extruder specifically but I was just wondering whether anyone has made stepper motors function nominally in general. Feel free to suggest models or makes if you have an idea that could help me as well. Thanks!
