Is "Install a new Image" Tutorial Misleading?

Post by alinguini1 »

Following the tutorial for installing a new image on the Core (https://revolution.kunbus.com/tutorials ... ll-jessie/), the final instructions at the bottom of the page says that I have to specify that I'm using a RevPi "connect" when I login to the terminal.

Why would I do this if I have a Core? Since this tutorial page is for the RevPi Core, shouldn't I specify "core" as opposed to "connect"?

Effectively, it's misleading.

If you have a core you have to enter "core"

Hello everyone, that is indeed true - a typo has crept into the documentation. Thank you very much for the hint - we are working on it.
