Changing Baud rate in Pictory results in missing extended data

Post by ChrisDeveloper »

Hi There,

I copied a _config file from one kunbus connect + to another and when I changed the baud rate or used any of the rs485 drop down settings parts of the Extended Data where lost.

In order to change the baud rate and parity, I had to manually edit it in a text editor.

Please see attached Screenshots.

Kind regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, thank you for your patience. I have made a test setup that included a RevPi Connect with a Modbus RTU Mater.

  • I have performed some example extended data configurations.
  • Then I have saved the configuration as default
  • I copied the configuration it to another RevPi Connect
  • changed the baudrate
  • saved the configuration as default
  • verified if the extended data changed
I was unable to reproduce the errorenous behavior.

My ideas on this:
  • Please check the PiCtory versions
  • Delete the browser cache
PiCtory acts like a diva here sometimes  so please excuse this.
