Raspbian Buster Support

Post by kascakm »

Hi,

are there any plans for officially providing RevPi image based on Buster release?

As a side question, before I get my hands dirty, is it theoretically possible to build the image with https://github.com/RevolutionPi/imagebakery ?

Thank you

Hi Michal, Currently we are planning the next release which will be on the Stretch. Maybe the next image release will be a Buster. So please subscribe to our news channels - How you can do this see here:

What's the ETA on buster support? Not having that is a major pain.

Hi keith.dart, to sum it up - no, there is no ETA. But we'll work with the kernel 4.19 and some incompatibilities concerning the RT patches. We assume to have time for the Buster release by the middle of this year.

Hi,
I upgraded to Buster today.. but the keyboard and mouse is not responding very well.
As a result I can't log in via the console.

Hi,

i updated from strech to Buster via sudo apt upgrade.
Now the connection is mostly lost, as piTest -d returns: no device.
As the device is build deeply away. Is there a way to fix this Problem over ssh?
