Modbus TCP Master

Post by lode »

Hello,

I would just like to notify that when I'm using the modbus TCP master, I have some strange behavior.
I'm connecting a festo cpx/mpal peumatic island and the output range of the island starts at 40003.
When I just enter 40003 as start register in the webserver, I observe in wireshark that the message being send starts at 40002.
Is this a 0/1 bug or am I missing something?
When I try other registers I have the same behavior.

kind regards,
Lode

Hello,

this is not a bug, we have an offset of -1.
If you want to access register 40003 you have to configure register 40004 in piCtory.

Eduard
