Re: Problem with RevPi Core

If so, the hardware bug fix, or at least the bug report in the news and announcements forum should be extended to RevPi Core 1, right?
Definitely not, Karl. A single issue with a system whose owner even does not know what has happened to this device before he got it and without failure analysis by KUNBUS will never be a cause for an official bug report, announcement or bug fix. Our QA works on a evidence based concept and not on a "may be" assumption. We have not received a single RevPi Core 1 yet which showed a failure due to CM1 having lost contact to the SODIMM socket and IF this was the case with this device here it would be the first time we've ever heard of that. The majority of devices sold are Core 3 but there are also several hundred Core1 out there. To our knowledge none has failed in that way until now.
