RevPi Connect - Cloudrail

Post by Nick Renti »

Hello,
I have in my possession a cloudrail device. Can I backup the image of the device and replace it with the standard RevPi connect image?
Waiting for your reply.

Hi Nick, yes, the hardware is the same. However, you are responsible for creating a backup beforehand to save the original state.

Hi Nick, the "Images" Tutorial is the starting point to find compatible images for your device:

You can download images after a short registration from our online shop on category "Software":

OK. Thank you Dirk. I have a couple of questions more:

1. Can I use also the new buster image? I saw on the details that it is compqtible.
2. Can I use the RevPi connect/core as a web server on Variable Frequency Drives for remote monitoring or controlling/managing the drives?
Let me know,
Thanks in advance
