Faulty RevPi connect devices

Hello there:

We have several devices which could not successfully boot up as described blow:
1. several devices emitted burnt smell after power cable connected, , some creaky noise could be heard, nothing displayed on my monitor through the HDMI connection
2. one RevPi did pass rpiboot step successfully, but no drive letter in Win32DiskImager software, no display on monitor either

we are confident in our PC and env etc, since we have programmed quite a few RevPis.

any kind of suggestion pls?

any body take a look pls?

Hello kwang, (1) seems like we have to examine the device(s) here. I'll contact you via EMail.
(2) have a look at the known issues in our FAQ like "I want to save or restore a system image. Why does RPiBoot.exe not connect to my device?"

Thanks Dirk for kind reply.
and as for 2), RPiBoot did connected to RevPi, it was Win32Imager failed to find the device drive.

We have got reply from our vendor, and will send them the detailed SN etc for the RMA request.
