I can use the Connect and DIO for other applications, so if returning only the Gateway is an option that would be great.

cataliz3er, in case you want to return the device please contact our sales team at sales@kunbus.com. In case you assume that the device has a malfunction I can open a RMA case so that you get the device back 100% functional. So what's your aim here?

The fact that the Gateway did not perform reliably and the approaching deadline for the project prompted me to switch to a tried and tested solution.
I would like to return the Gateway as I have no use for it outside of this specific application.
