NTC instead of PT100

Post by misnelstain5 »

Hi,
is it possible to read an NTC instead of a PT100 / PT1000 via an AIO? I am aware that the characteristic curves are different and I have to convert them. Since I am new to the topic, I can well imagine that the required performance is different or that any compensation is used for the RTDs that have to be calculated out at the NTC.

Hi misnelstain5, thank you for your patience. I'll consult the specialists here. Meanwhile have a look at the datasheet of the AIO Module

Hi misnelstain5, NTCs usually have a steeper and less straight characteristic.
But above all a higher resistance, often 10k. Can you please send us a data sheet or at least a more precise description of the NTC?
