RevPi - Opto-Coupler - Relais Modul

Post by Reda1000 »

Hi there,

I have just been put on track of RevPi on the SPS today in nuremberg as we have prototyped a commercial product with plain raspberryPi now thinking of getting ready to transform the prototype to a more official release version of a commercial product.

Part of the RapberryPi setup uses a "4-Kanal 5V Relais Modul Optokoppler Relay Low Pegel Arduino Raspberry Pi" as for instance can be seen on here https://www.ebay.de/i/162681155526?chn=ps. My question now is: How to ideally transform this to some RevPi-Modul? So far i didnt see a Relais Modul of RevPi that could "switch on / off" 230V by an internal digital high or low.

Thank you very much in advance. In case more details are necessary I am happy to provide more information.

I would simply use a DO (or DIO if you also need inputs) with 24v Relais (current according to your use case). These relais are produced by a lot of industrial manufacturers like Finder or Phoenix contact in very compact (<1 DU) versions.
