Can you help me select the components I need to buy?

Post by JeffCalgary »

I am looking for some help selecting components for a prototype. I apologize in advance for needing assistance but time is short for me right now.

- Raspberry Pi main computer module
-Network connection module
-8 Digital Inputs module 24VDC
-4 Analog Inputs module
- 1 AO module

I would like to have all connecting hardware as well. As well as a cellular router if available.

Hi, you may use this setup.
  • The AIO Module has 4 Inputs and 2 Outputs.
  • The DI Module has 16 Inputs.

Hello Dirk,

Do the modules include a connector with screw terminals to connect control wires? Also, do you have a power supply module?

Hi,
all IO-modules come with a pair of 14-pole connectors to connect the wires to the module You can have a look at them here:

https://revolution.kunbus.de/shop/en/pc ... or-14-pole (you don`t need to purchase them seperately, since they are already included in the scope of delivery of an IO module. )

We don`t have an own power supply module, but we suggest one from Mean Well:

One final question:

Is the cloudrail box a good option for us given that we are connecting to Azure as opposed to the Connect box?

Actually no, since its not possible to connect our expansion modules like the IO modules to the Cloud.Rail Box. The CloudRail.Box would be the best option, if you want to connect IO-Link sensors to Azure or any other cloud and you need an out of the box solution.
