Re: IO ohne Pictory ansprechen

Re: Unable to change A1 and A2 LED

Hi, piTest was developed as a demo program, it is not perfect in all parts. For example -w does not display an error message if a variable does not exist. Therefore your first call of piTest does not work. The second call $ piTest -w 6,1,4 Write value 4 hex (=4 dec) to offset 6. should work. Could i...

Re: RevPi core wont boot

Hi,
did you remove the micro usb cable? While the micro usb connector is connected to a USB device, the RevPi is switched to flash-mode and will not boot. You have to to remove the cable and make a power cycle.

Re: PiBridge speed

Hi kkerekes,

no, unfortunately this is not possible. There are a few optimization possibilities, if not all I/Os are used. But 1ms with an AIO and a DIO will not work by far.

I am sorry,

Re: Profinet IRT Gateway Module is present, but NOT CONFIGURED!!!

Hallo David,
es fehlen nur noch zwei Schritte.
1. die Konfiguration als Startkonfiguration abspeichern
2. piControl neu starten. Das kann man auf 2 Arten machen: im Menü Extras/Reset oder in der Kommandozeile 'piTest -x' eingeben.
Dann sollte das Gateway present und configured sein.

Re: RevPi AIO sample rate

Hi, you have two cycle rate: The 5 ms cycle time is on the piBridge for each AIO module. 10ms for two, 15 ms for three and so on. If you use DIOs also, it will increase by about 2.5ms per DIO. The 5 ms per AIO do not depend on the configuration. The duration of the last IO-cycle on the piBridge is w...

Re: RevPi Connect - Freeze

Hi,
I think the problem is related to the USB devices. Could you tell me exactly which USB devices you connected?
Did you use the wireless Logitech device when the Connect crashed?

Re: DIO Module unstable behaviour

Hi Enrico, at a certain time the communication between the RevPi and the DIO stops to work. The piControl Driver counts the communication errors for each module. That is the increasing number you see in in kern.log. It would be interesting to see what happens before. Are there messages that erros oc...

Re: DIO Module unstable behaviour

Hi,
you are right. With stretch there are much less messages.
On the other hand, there's a problem with your system. If you solve that, you will not have a problem with the messages anymore.

Re: DIO Module unstable behaviour

What do you mean with "system image"? When you log in the first time on the console (with USB keyboard and HDMI monitor) after you flashed the image with the mirco usb connector, the user is 'pi' and password is 'raspberry' (with german keyboard layout, so maybe you have to type 'raspberrz...
