Re: RevPi Compact EERAM

Thank you for the responses. I am taking this to CodeSys to see if the software can be configured to make use of the EERAM through the file path.

RevPi Compact EERAM

Has anyone tested the ability to use the EERAM in Codesys on the RevPi Compact? In the past I had to abandon the Connect+ because the lack of non-volatile memory when using Codesys. The only option was to attach a UPS to the system which made it too complex. I'm hoping the Compact resolves this issu...

Re: dwc_otg interrupt rate

If I were to build a Kernel using the Kernel Bakery on GitHub and re-flash the Connect+ , would it have the fixes or do those fixes only exist on the factory image?

Re: dwc_otg interrupt rate

I found a setting that affects the dwc_otg interrupt rate. In the file /boot/cmdline.txt , if it contains this "dwc_fiq_enable=N" the interrupt rate approximately triples.

dwc_otg interrupt rate

I was looking through some of the processes on my RevPi Connect+ and I noticed the interrupt handler for the dwc_otg driver occurs about 300 times per second. Comparing this to other Pi based devices, the interrupt occurs between 1000 - 8000 times per second. What is different on the Connect+ that r...

Re: Internal UPS

After some more research I think the proper name for what I am looking for is a "capacitive buffer module". To revise my question.... Is it possible to fit a Buffer Module inside the Connect+ to provide a few seconds of power for an orderly shut down?

Re: Internal UPS

In the schematic of the Connect+, it shows 3 capacitors C305, C306, and C307 that are on the compute module's power input. If these capacitors were replaced with supercapacitors, could the module continue to operate for a few seconds after a main power loss in order to perform an orderly shutdown? T...

Internal UPS

Is it possible or has anyone attempted to add an internal UPS, possibly based on a simple capacitor, to the Connect+? Beckhoff has a few CX controllers with a 1 second UPS built-in and I would like to add a similar feature to the Connect+
